A handy guide if you're not receiving your password reset requests or emails from Geora

If you're having trouble receiving your password reset requests or emails from Geora, then you're in the right place!

The most common reasons you might not be getting emails from us:

  1. They're landing in your spam folder (always check this one first!)

  2. You're experiencing a case sensitivity mismatch (e.g. your email address contains uppercase letters, which we don't support)

If they're landing in your spam folder...

The best thing to do here is to check your Spam folder - if our emails are landing there, you should have an option to either "Mark our emails as Safe" or to "Report not spam" (usually available after clicking on the email to read it).

If your network is preventing emails from the Geora Domain

This one really only happens if you're using a company-managed internet connection vs your everyday at-home internet connection (if you're using a company network you'll know, so if this doesn't sound familiar then it likely isn't this!)

If you are on a company managed network, you'll need to get in touch with your IT Manager and ask them to "white list the Geora.io domain" (they'll know what this means).

If you're experiencing a case sensitivity mismatch

This is quite rare, but if your email address has been configured to include any uppercase letters in it, this can prevent emails from Geora from reaching you as we don't currently support emails with uppercase letters.
